Music magazine analysis including contents and front cover

The genre of magazine i have chosen to analyse is pop culture, they incorporate music, fashion and youth culture.  The target audience is clearly fashion focused, music loving young adults and teenagers, the artists use on the front cover are typically significant musical figures in today's society. Both magazines take a very minimalist approach to design, this ensures that everything that is important stands out, and the brands unique style is continued and recognisable.
